OptikTV app on AppleTV update??

Hi folks,

I happened to use my AppleTV today and noticed the OptikTV app was updated and now seems to be able to act like PikTV with the ability to watch live TV, but also the ability, seemingly, to watch recordings from my PVR. Is this new functionality, and if so, are there any details on the app update?

I guess, never mind about the recordings piece. It looks like you can but once you try, it tells you, you can only view recordings on your Optik box. Got my hopes up for nothing.

Sure would be a very nice feature, if it's possible for Telus to implement!

Seems like it's 90% of the way there...just need a bit more code. Goes back to Bell Fibe, which is basically the same service, having more advanced features.

Odd, just tested it again and it worked... maybe try clearing your browser's cache and restart? Or test with a different browser?

The original link had "&nbsp" at the end and seemed to be breaking it.

Thank you. The new link works. I had tried 3 other browsers this morning and gave up. Cleared caches, allowed pop-ups, and everything else I could think of.
