Any chance Telus will come out with illuminated Optic remotes? Not having them light up makes for awkward use in dim lights.
On the last hardware refresh the remote was revamped. It wouldn’t be feasible for a separate remote to come out. If you need a backlight remote you can always purchase a logitech harmony.
Unfortunately Logitech has discontinued the Harmony. Here are some possible options:
