Last week I switched theme pack subscriptions. The old channels disappeared as expected but the new channels have yet to appear. In my tv guide. I can find them in the Optik TV app but not through my actual pvr box. I've tried calling in, chatbot, twitter, and escalating the issue but no answers. Wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue and if they were able to find a fix?
Have you tried turning off the “Subscribed channels only” selection in settings to see if you can access the expected channels? If you still can’t access them, then you’ll need to contact Telus directly. See the ‘Contact Us’ section at the page bottom. I suggest the chat function, or Twitter @TELUSSupport as being less time consuming.
Try accessing one of the channels in the new theme pack by punching in the channel number directly to see if you have access to the channel. If you do, just reboot the PVR box and the channels should then appear.
