NHL Centre Ice 4k question

Kootenayguy9

With the NHL season starting this Wednesday. I was curious on why 4K regional broadcasts on networks like TSN or Sportsnet can not be shown on NHL Centre Ice. I noticed there are a number of upcoming TSN 3 regional broadcasts for the Jets for the month of October. Since Nhl Centre Ice is an outer market product I am hoping Telus can make the broadcasts available on their Centre Ice package in the 1100s.

Telus is only the pipeline. The broadcaster decides what is offered for distribution, and the form of distribution.

Same here, exact same problem.

It’s not a problem, blame the broadcasters and the NHL. They’ll never change it though.

I've been looking for blackout info myself when trying to watch NHL on the 4K channels.  I finally found this link on telus.com and googled 'nhl blackouts' and found other links with the same info.  https://www.telus.com/en/bc/support/article/nhl-blackout-information
Hope this helps.
