Entering Channel Numbers Directly

Just Moved In

Hello,

Has anyone else noticed they are unable to directly enter channel numbers if they are directly on the 100.

As an example, I can not enter channel 100 for CBC Edmonton, or channel 800 for CBC News Network. I am able to enter 801 and surf down to 800. Same thing happens in the guide.

Am I missing something?

It works for me. Enter 100 and then OjK to go to the channel.

Works for me also. May try this:
Menu
Settings
Television
>Customize your Guide
OK
Check All
Save

Interestingly, played around a bit more.

I am using a universal remote... I enter 800 and I get 80

Using the Telus remote, entering 800 I get 800.

Something on my end.

Looks like your universal remote only goes up to 99.

Some universal remotes have timing settings (logitech for example) that let you specify the time between button pushes as well as how long the signal is sent for each push. You probably want to play with those.

RE: Telus remote  If you have removed channel 800 from your Customer Guide Settings, the Remote will take you to the nearest channel you have checked off, in this case 801.

Your universal remote only has 2 digit channel numbers.
