I get the following error when I attempt to access Optik TV on multiple computers: This site can't be reached oauth.tv.telus.net took too long to respond. I have also not been able to authenticate when trying to log on to Sportsnet as a television subscriber.

What link are you using? It should be watchoptik.telus.com.

Yes I'm using that link. It does not load.

I have also had this issue for the past four days. I can’t log in to any network apps with my Telus log in.

Sorry about the delay. Is a current version of Flash working in your browser?

It won’t even reach the login page for Telus for me to enter my login info. It isn’t working on my iPhone, iPad or AppleTV, but was working with no issues on all 3 devices before this weekend. When I open the CTV app, for example, I can get through to the login page for Shaw or Bell with no problem, but when I try to go to the Telus login page, it won’t load.

I can access the various channel apps just fine from my iPhone. Login comes up on all of them and I am able to sign in. watchoptik.telus.com also lets me log in successfully using Firefox on my desktop.

I often have the same issue.  I have called support with no real resolution.  The standard advice is to clear the browser cache & restart the browser.  I find it works only about half the time.  Instead I now simply try different browsers (IE, Chrome, Edge). One of them always works and if I go back to the one that I started with in a day or 2 it works again.  Go figure...

My hope is that when they (hopefully) come out with a non-flash alternative it will be a much more reliable and better solution (more like the Shaw all, allows for better remote access/use, rewind, skip, volume control....).
