I can't watch a video without it freezing every 2 to 3 seconds and plays for 2 to 3 seconds and freezes for 2 to 3 seconds........................
This has been happening for about 4 months. It wasn't always like this, I used to be able to watch videos with no problems.
Nothing has changed in my household as far as devices go. 3 tablets and one cell phone.
Is my modem hooped or is there something else I can do?

What Telus modem do you have?
What are the streaming video websites those devices are accessing? Is the video a live broadcast?

@Reimerbr Hey! So which videos are freezing? Netflix? YouTube? Video on Demands on Optik TV?
If you are experiencing buffering while streaming on the internet, try doing a factory reset on your modem. To do this, you need to press on the red reset button on the back of the modem for 10 seconds, release, then unplug the power and plug it back in after a few seconds. Remember by doing this, your wifi settings will be set back to the default. These settings are written on a sticker behind your modem. This should resolve the buffering.
If you are experiencing freezing with your Optik tv - Video on Demand, recordings etc, do the reset on the modem, and once that's done and the modem is up and running, reboot your PVR box (unplug the power and then plug back in) and see if this works.
If this doesn't help the issue, please call 310-TECH. We are open 24/7.
Good luck!
