EasyRoam per day charges

Is the $12 international "per day" charge defined by my home time zone, by my roaming location time zone (e.g. Greece), or 24 hours after initiating a roaming call or data usage? E.G.: If I start roaming at 7 AM in Athens (10 PM Mountain) and end 4 hours later (11 AM Athens / 2 AM AB) will I be charged for 1 day or 2? (BTW Telus should explain this up front in their Easy Roaming package description.)

The clock starts ticking once you take an action to trigger easy roam, and continues for 24 hours from that point. The time your use is reported to Telus may be some time later, and the use period may not exactly match the reporting interval.
