I have recently moved it to a more central location to improve my home's wifi signal, but it doesn't show up on the home page.

Is is connected by Ethernet or Wi-Fi?
If you have moved it outside your Gateway's Wi-Fi signal reach, it can't extend a signal it can't receive.

Hi,
Make sure both the power cable is plugged in, and that there is an ethernet (cat5) cable running between your modem (plugged into lan ethernet) and your wireless extender.
If it's still not being detected, then try resetting the extender. There is a small reset button in the back of it.
