Does anyone know if Telus has any special number sequence to check the last few numbers called or dialed from a mobile phone when thebhistory has been deleted? Online takes forever to update. Also wondering if it is possible to retrieve deleted text messages from a device?

I am not aware of any means to learn numbers called other than those you mention.

SMS may be in a backup of your phone, and there are some Apps, particularly for Android phones that claim to be able to retrieve deleted SMS.

Basically no and no unless it was iphone and you had chosen to save imessages to icloud forever. A lot of apps claim they can get them but, you're risking your privacy forever. However the Telus app/telus.com will always show you call history for the past 18 months 😄 Here's the links for the app!
