goodbye telus

Just Moved In

Telus informed me that my phone service was obsolete as of March, so I recycled the phone and got another service.  But they kept billing me.  Now they inform me that the service will end mid-june.  In other words, I am expected tp pay for several months of no service.  I am understandable incensed.

@Donna2

Telus informed me that our no contract mobile phone service was obsolete.  Since it was an emergency phone, rarely used (came to 70 cents a minute, actually) and the replacement service was more expensive, I chose not to accept the "bargain " replacement, but telus keeps billing me.  Grrrr!

When cancelling Telus service, you must phone in to cancel personally(voice). Even on a month to month.

The old CDMA network was 'officially' shutdown, but still available in Edmonton and Calgary for a time longer.

Choose escalation.

 All phones, as long as they are compatiable with the network, should be able to call 911 without paying a carrier.

Hi Donna,

That sounds unusual! Please give them a call or reach out to Telus over twitter @TELUSsupport so that they can take a look into that.
