Here are the Bands used in Canada by the Big 3 providers. Note only Rogers has a 2G network.
3G (and fake 4G)
1x EV-DO CDMA2000 (currently being phased out)
4G (called 4G+)

1700 is the LTE standard nationwide.
2300 is likely reserved by Telus but not in use yet.
Government of Canada sites lack of available equipment is one reason 2300 has not been deployed in Canada.
