I use to have a iPhone 6, and never saw the number 778-580-4002 come up when someone left a voicemail. Now when a get a voicemail with my Pixel 3, 778-580-4002 shows up. I called my mobile to test, and it didn't ring and went straight to voicemail. On my the Pixel 3, "voicemail 778-580-4002" popups. I tried before, and the number I was phoning from displayed while it was ringing, but when a voicemail was left, it again said"voicemail 778-580-4002". Is there a setting somewhere to show the number that left the voicemail instead of 778-580-4002? Thanks.

The number 778-580-4002 is the number of the voicemail server. I wonder if it shows as part of Telus’ rollout of caller name ID. I’ve never known the voicemail service to display the number which called, just to replay the voicemail audio.
