Greetings!
I am a week into my new Pixel 2 XL on Telus and am having an issue. Seems that when I send a picture via text to some Iphone users they do not receive it though it shows as sent on my device. I have figured out that it seems to be Rogers clients. Any ideas as to why this is happening and what the solution may be?
Thanks!!!

So update...one of my contacts on Rogers w/Iphone with whom I have been sending tests to suddenly got all the pictures I sent. Yesterday I ad him delete our previous thread with no success but then this morning he got up and his data was off. When he turned it back on the pictures can through!

The 'Sent" indicator simply means it was received by the forwarding server, not that it was received by the end recipient.
Have you always used Android devices, or have you also used iOS devices?

Negative, never had an Iphone.
Did some more testing yesterday...definitely Rogers specific not device as an Android device was unable to receive a sent picture as well. Additionally tried switching to a different messaging app (from Google Messages to Textra) and compressing the picture to 100kb and still no success.

If it is only to Rogers users, it may well be on their side. Any workarounds I would suggest mean storing the photo somewhere and sending a link.

You know, I didn't realize all the little annoying issues between iOS using Rogers and Android using Telus until my grandson started using Rogers with his new iPhone. So many annoyances, not real problems like you're having, but so many little things like pop-up messages with picture texts that can't be eliminated, etc. If you Google it, you'll find annoying issues coming from Rogers to Telus between iPhone and Android have been around for years, and they're just part of the game now.
