I have the Huawei internet key I've been using on notebook and netbook in BC Canada and other provinces in Canada . I would like to know if I can use telus internet in the USA.

Telus' cellular internet does extend to the USA, so at best, you would be roaming on one of their partner networks, once you go south of the border. The website information is silent on roaming packages specifically for their data plans, but there is no reason from a technology viewpoint that you could not roam.
If you would be using any great number of days, purchasing a US-based device and service would likely be cheaper.

It will work but, you will definitely need a roaming package! It'll be be $7 a day for easy roam to use your current package like it is to be charged a maximum of $100 in a bill cycle on top of your Canadian plan or the combo passes have a set amount of data, $25 for 50mb, $45 for 150mb or $80 for 1gb which are all good for 30 days.
