Easy to do with IFTTT - add sms or android sms as a trigger, and gmail or email as the action and you can send an email to any address (including your own) with the contents of you SMS message. I use this feature to keep a log of my sms messages, just in case I lose my phone, without having to install any apps other than IFTTT.

Hi, my advice would be to search on Google to see if a text message application can do this for you, but text messages are not really made to be forward, from my point of view. I know you can do it with emails but I've never seen a mobile device doing it. But, it's not impossible if a specific application offer this feature.

IFTTT will need your phone on to forward messages.

I would take the SIM card out and put it into the other phone.

Re: PhilP comment:
If you have a Mac, simply leave Messages open on the computer, and your iPhone messages will be reproduced on the computer, and any particular conversation printed.
