Will my phone work in Singapore?

I'm looking to buy the Moto G and will be using it in Singapore, not in Canada.  I am wondering if it will work there.

It may be simplier ot get the phone in Singapore to ensure it works with the wireless carrier.  Otherwise you also need to get the phone unlocked too.
