Will Telus please get more flagship phones in 64gb, with manufacturers shifting away from expandable storage and Telus not staying up to date with storage size, its getting harder and harder to stay with Telus.

As more phones come available from the manufacturer (eg. Apple, BBY, Nexus, WinPhones) it becomes ever easier to choose a BYOD option, and have the phone(s) you like, and change them at the frequency you wish. Unfortunately, Samsung seems not to be choosing this route for their phones.

Suggest you put specifics in the 'Ideas' section.

What flagship phone are you referring to?
Blackberries allow you to add a MicroSD card... you can have as much or as little memory as you want.

referring to 6p and Note 5

It also depends on which carrier gets specific contracts from the manufacturers for any device including the larger capacity devices.

I have the exact same issue. I have a Note 3 with 32GB. No way, will I upgrade to a "better" phone with only 32GB and NO memory slot!!
I thought the exclusion of the memory slot was to help with the upsale.
Where are the 64 GB Note 5 or Nexus 6p?? Or even 128GB?!??
So far only Rogers has the Note 5 64GB listed. Time to switch??

128GB is supposed to exist for the Nexus 6p but no carrier has it yet. Huawei has major production and inventory issues that extend down to the base model also. No Canadian carrier has anything larger than a 32GB on offer for that reason, assuming they're even in stock.

@Dirk Switching to any of the Big Three is the same problem, just different provider.
@Nighthawk In Canada via Google you could get any of the 6P in three different colors and sizes atm, so it's hard to imagine there is still a production problem. Also a Note 5 64gb would be nice since Telus is the only one of the Big Three without it.

Yes, the 6p can be purchased from The Google Play store but you'd still have to pay in full for it. Most people that I've seen posting here and on other forums, want the carrier subsidized version even though that means getting the new more expensive plans, some with less data than previous ones.
Telus hasn't made any announcements when or even if they'll get the Note 5 either. Even Samsung hasn't announced the 64GB Note 5 is officially in Canada yet and still has yet to post any specs on their Note 5 product page.

The problem with the larger capacity devices is that the carriers don't sell a lot of them, which results in surplus inventory. The carrier has to pay for the devices upfront, so if they have surplus, they end up having to discount them to sell, which usually means they sell them at a loss.
They do carry the higher capacity devices in the device lineups that have proven track records of selling (iPhone/Galaxy S line), but until a device comes along that starts selling in those volumes, i doubt they will make the investment.
