I'm using my old iPhone 3Gs on pay and talk for a little over $12 per month. It varies a bit depending on the number of minutes I use.

I recall the least expensive plan for a subsidized phone is $70.

If you purchase the iPhone 5s on contract the plan would need to be a minimum of $70 SharePlus plan. If you bring your own phone you can pick from the Share Lite plans or a $35 BYOD plan.
