I completely agree!! Haven't even considered switching since I signed up with Telus years ago. And the customer service is also top notch, at least when I needed it. Always open to compromise and meet me halfway, both on the phone and in store.

Telus is pretty good. I've been with them for about ten years and I don't see any reason to consider anyone else.

I have used a lot of carriers and continue to be with telus because they are the best for coverage and service, just need to get some caller id in my pln, refuse to pay for something thats included but everything else about Telus I love.

"I feel even better when I can use my phone wherever I am while others are in a deadzone or a place with no coverage."
Try using your phone at BMO Field. I have to use my wife's BB on the Wind network to get any reception there.
"I supplement my Telus coverage with Roam Mobility when going South."
I use T-Mobile.

I am going on 4 years now with Telus and I have never had better Service. One of the most important and most frustrating things is having to go over your bill every month with a fine tooth comb to make sure everything is correct, like I ALWAYS had to do with Rogers, my bill was never accurate and I was always being overcharged and fighting to get it in order. I HATED it!! I have never had to worry about that with Telus! They have never tried to cheat me or screwed up my bill and that is a big load off my mind. We did have one little incident with a communication problem when I was suspended once but with one email every thing was corrected very quickly. Even with that happening I am 100% happy with Telus, how often do you hear that? I just signed on for another 3 year contract without worry. I have NEVER had a problem with down time or making or receiving calls. In 3 years I have been online 100% of the time. I actually feel good when I pay my bill, highly unusual

Must say I called in to Telus today to see about getting Caller ID added to my account and they were great, really helpful. Managed to get my voice plan replaced with on that had everything my old plan had but with caller ID and and extra 50 minutes for free! Frankly that combined with my 6gig data plan means I am not leaving Telus anytime soon (well and my 18 months left ) But when that expires I doubt I will find a better deal unless Canada gets the big V.

Hi everyone. js here. Before I signed up with TELUS Mobility, I did some shopping with other carriers such as Bell and Rogers but did not like their selection of phones, rate plans or pricing. How I found out about TELUS was that there was a moblilty kiosk located near the centre court of a local shopping mall here in Calgary. After giving it some thorough thought and what I would mostly use the phone for I signed a contract on December 27, 2001 for a 3 year term, paid the necessary fees and received my first cellphone which was the AUDIOVOX 8100 model. As my contract came up for renewal at the end of every 3 years I would upgrade to phones manufactured by LG. Ever since I signed up with TELUS, I have only had 2 issues. One was a feature did not work properly and a mistake in the billing. It was an overcharge. The associates I spoke to at *611 were professional and fixed the issue promptly. I got the overcharge on my next bill as a credit. Then in 2006 I got my first laptop computer and signed up for TELUS High Speed Internet. FANTASTIC!!! No way on earth will I terminate TELUS and go to one of their competitors especially if VERIZON comes to Calgary.

Glad to hear about your experience! The AUDIOVOX 8100 brings back memories, that was my very first phone too! 🙂

Telus could stand to improve from a customer service perspective, but other than that their network/service is much superior than Rogers.
