Which two phones are you stuck between?  Is one black and the other white?  You just want a grey model?

Perhaps we can help with your selection?

Currently have iPhone 6, I really like the waterproof on the Samsung s7 but I'm not a big fan of android, that's why I was wondering if there was any kind of trial just to see if I would adapt to it in that period of time,

While there is a two week return window, it would be wise to solicit further opinions from users such as those here.

So say if I'm stuck between the iPhone and the Samsung s7 could I get the s7 and say if it's not for me, bring it back within the two weeks ?

You have two weeks to the day to return it if you don't like it. Myself I would go iPhone, just works always gets updated and higher resale value.

Used plenty of android phones always end up back to the iPhone. It's not perfect, but does almost everything well. Not tied to the ecosystem for purchases, so bounce around..

If level of water resistance is your only consideration, I suggest sticking with the phone and ecosystem you are familiar with. According to reports, the S7 isn't fully waterproof, though better than the iPhone. You could also buy Applecare which would cover accidental damage, including swimming.

You could also get a case to protect your phone from physical damage & water ingress.
