Very professionally done. You should really remove this page and put 'updates to come to Android phones one day, we're not really sure when.' I think I will be switching phones to the nexus devices to actually get updates faster than this half a snail's pace. The Telus experience is not one I'm impressed with. Makes me consider switching providers.

Just updated my Samsung S6 edge to nougat and the LED notification do not work when the phone is set to vibrate only or silent... the led notifications only work when sound it on. Anyone else facing same issue?

Usually the S6 Edge gets the updates a few days before the S6, apparently they have different programming.

Update Galaxy S6 since 17 hours on videotron with built G920W8VLU5DQD4, Telus one of the big company is not even able to release the updates before videotron, we should receive within a couple of hours, otherwise its really slow ...

@darderb Yes I agree. But the Update Schedule is finally updated. S6 Edge got Android 7 on April 24th. And there is no mention of S6 update yet again, after being removed previously.....

Honestly, I would rather wait a bit longer if it meant a completely stable version of the OS would be available, but as we have seen in the past that is not usually the case. OEM's really need to press Google to adjust their update methods, there shouldn't be a 8 month waiting period for the OEM's to release updates. And yes, I do realise the S6 line is now 2 years old.

That is an interesting site, i'm a bit surprised that even the smaller companies have released the update already. Virgin and Wind beat Telus to the update? Wow

I'm using a SM-G920I factory unlocked from Singapore god knows when it will get 7.0...according to that firmware site only India has it so far.

The Telus rep is likely going off of information currently available to them.

@Nighthawk I am sure the support rep was going off of information provided to them. Unfortunately the information provided to the rep was incorrect at that particular time.

I sent a tweet out to Telus Support and was referred to the update schedule, "as soon as we find out, we'll update our update schedule" So I guess we will just have to patiently wait for it.
