New update loaded on June 11/018. The Quick Dial function has disappeared.Do you know how to reactivate? This phone was purchased Dec 2017, and has no "Galaxy Labs" thar many websites refer to.

I don't recall ever seeing Galaxy Labs on my S7 but I do still see Quick Dial in the settings after that update.

Settings > Advanced Features > Quick Dial

I checked again, and on my phone the Quick Dial option isn't there (like the screenshot you showed).
Comparing my Advanced Features page to the one you posted,
"Accessories" and "Quick Dial" are missing.
i. e. Under Advanced Features, the next selections are:
Smart Stay
Games
One-handed Mode
Launch Quick Camera
Multi window
Etc.

I'm confused why my phone doesn't display the same items as yours.

Just to make sure we're running the same version of everything: Settings > About Phone > Software Information

Does your phone match the following:

Android Version 8.0.0
Baseband Version G930W8VLU3CRE3
Kernel version 3.18.14-13597454-QB18237167

The S7 you have, that was also purchased through Telus right?

This phone was purchased in Dec. 2017, from stock at Clearwest, Deerfoot City, Calgary

Weird. Not sure why I have Quick Dial in my settings and you don't. Only thing I can think of is contact Samsung support and see if they have an idea. I can't figure out how one device has the option and another doesn't when we're both running the same software.

Try: https://www.samsung.com/ca/support/model/SM-G930WZKAXAC - Support options are at the bottom.

Ok.
I will contact Samsung, see if they have any ideas.
Thanks for your help.

When I go to Advanced Features, the only "Quick" selection that shows up is "Quick Launch Camera".
"Quick Dial" does not appear.

Not sure. You may have to try asking Samsung support. It's on my Telus S7 so in theory it should be on yours.

@Wayman-- I don't have quick dial anymore either on my S7 after the update, and all my numbers match @Nighthawk.

Ok. I'll call ask Samsung when I have time. Was hoping someone at Telus knew about changes w/ the update.
Guess not.
Thanks for confirming that my S7 wasn't the problem.
Have a good day.
