I recently purchased a Samsung GS6 Edge and I've been having some issues staying connected with the mobile network. Most of the time, the phone is fine, but occasionally I'll wake the phone up to find that there are no bars. The only fix for this seems to be to restart the phone. Whenever this happens, the mobile networks option also disappears from the settings.
I included a screenshot of one of these episodes where the signal dropped of and the settings menu doesn't display the 'Mobile Networks' option.

Strange. If it's a brand new phone, I'd take it to a TELUS Product Care Center to be exchanged as a DOA device. You have 14 days from date of purchase at the store level; 30 days from webstore.
If it's under a year old, it's still under warranty which entitles you to have it sent to an authorized repair center for repair. A loaner phone will be provided, though I would call ahead to make sure they have one available.
If you would let us know if the issue has been resolved (or not) after taking it in, I think the community would benefit 🙂
