I have a confirmed  $50on my plan, but I can't text or call... can someone help me please

Have you tried re-starting your phone?

Ensured your base plan has been renewed, or is on auto renew? Telus has made a number of changes to their prepaid service, which requires a choice of plan every 30 days.

What exactly happens when you try to text it call? Do you get an error? Does your phone become unresponsive? How many bars of signal strength so you have? There are dozens of reasons that could be the cause besides account problems. If you provide some information then you might get some answers.
