Tried getting through to customer service at first to upgrade to new phone and new plan. For 2 days I have waited hours only to be hung up on after more than 3 hours left hanging on the phone, just disconnected. I have been a Telus customer for around 20 years. I am now done unless they want to make me an offer I cannot refuse. At this point I just want to leave and need an unlock code to do that. I have no more contract.
Telus, please give me the unlock code or let me know how I can get one. This is ridiculous. So unprepared and very unprofessional!

Call Telus *611 from your phone, you will have to verify your identity and they will then help with your request.

Was it purchased from a store? If yes, contact the store as new phones will not be locked. Private seller? Make sure the phone is not stolen. If you bought it second hand and you need to unlock the phone from the previous carrier, whoever had the phone prior to you will need to unlock the phone from their account with their previous cellular provider.
