Late payment

Just switched jobs and spent all my money on rent moving to a new city, haven't paid my bill for almost 3 months and was wondering if there is any penalty for this or if my phone will be shut off. My first pay for the new job will come in on sept 15th so that will be about 4 months without a payment.
