Keyboard shortcuts on iOS6

Hey all,

I am routinely noticing that keyboard shortcuts I have made in iOS6 (and all of them for that matter) stop working. A reboot/reset ususally fixes, but is there a swifter way to make them start working again or, even better, prevent them from stopping?

I think this is the best thing I have found yet:

Settings -> Safari -> AutoFill and tap "Clear All"

That seems to be a solid fix.
