I saw something to be downloaded that can transfer aps contacts etc? Any ideas? It was on telus site.

You could transfer contacts from one phone to another by a couple of ways.
1. Transfer contacts to sim card.
2. Transfer contacts via bluetooth
3. If both the phones support the same memory card, you can copy the contacts to your memory card and then paste it to the other phone

Hi, this process may be different from one device to another, you can try a Google search like " How can I transfer my contacts from my (Iphone/Samsung/Rim) to my (the name of your new phone.

I'm late to the game here, but for others looking for this information, you can now use the Smart Switch app. The Telus rep used it to move all of my daughter's phone content from her old to her new phone yesterday. It took about ten minutes to transfer. Install in into both phones, and away you go.
