Think there might be some confusion on what the CRTC's Wireless Code of Conduct actually means for consumers, all they mandated was that carriers can no longer offer 3 year terms & that by June 2015, all customer contracts must be compliant with the new rules. If you're on a 3-year contract right now, nothing has changed and you are still held to the original terms you agreed to.
FYI, if/when you choose to renew, TELUS will ask you to spend >$70/month on a 2-year term vs. the old minimum of $50/month on a 3-year term.
