Hi lalala, you should have a setting in your calling section, but this will block your ID for everyone. To block your ID once, you can dial #31#+10 digit phone number, this way, you'll be private for this one call.

Hi lalala, you can block your mobile # while placing a call by dialing *31# xxx-xxx-xxxx SEND. Replaces the x's with the # you wish to reach.

"Hi lalala, you can block your mobile # while placing a call by dialing *31# xxx-xxx-xxxx SEND."
Actually it's #31# to block your number on the next call.
It's *31# to unblock your number on the next call if you had previously requested TELUS block your number for all calls.
Here is the info from the TELUS support site for the BB Bold 9700. Not sure why it's nowhere else???
Block or unblock your number
You can control whether or not your number is displayed when you make a call. If you block your number, it shows as restricted.
Your number is not displayed for this call.
Your number is not displayed for all your calls.
Your number is displayed for this call.

In addition to "m_ols" if you've the feature (restricted ID or private#). you can show your Ph# to a particular person by
dialing [*82] before dial Ur own.Ph#. Note .It works only if you dial the Ph# from the callPad. If you chose a Ph# from your [Phone.Book] dial the *82+select the name at whom, you'll call+tap the send button, won't work. Bye "v9".

Hi- what you up to <lala>. So far you got enough solutions, from contributors to block or display your Ph#. You can avoid display it wether by paying a fee to Telus for (Id-restricted.Add-on)) or do it through your own phone settings. Both the Iphones+Samsungs got these features.
I know how to display-block my Ph# in my (SGs4Mini) In the Iphone I've no clue. I lost my "SGs3" recently 'Telus' offeredMe an IphoneS, but I declined - I wanto stick with the "Android OS#1 worldwide" oopps get out from the subject isn't it. Let's get back. Pros, nice to keep a private# to avoid unwanted calls. Cons lot of peoples, including gvrmt agencies voicemails, will respond, sorry we don't accept anonymous calls. Is a flip-flop issue to consider. Ps 'lala' reporto forum. Bye from "v9"
