I've never heard of this being called a "warranty". Insurance is available through Asurion or whatever they're called, but you're better off insuring your phone under your home insurance. When you buy something, especially something small, expensive, and breakable like a cell phone, read all the fine print and ensure you know thoroughly about what product or service you are purchasing. You chose to get that phone insurance where it's completely optional. Edge devices are also the worst ones to get from a case/screen protector standpoint because of the curved screen. Flat protectors don't often adhere properly. Also, you can get cases etc from many sources.
