My recording was deleted somehow

I recorded the first episode of True and the Rainbow Kingdom on Saturday but on Monday midnight I saw that my recording got deleted and me nor my family didn't delete it! I know you can't get the recording back, but what caused the recording to get deleted without touching it?

Oh and I'm using Optik TV and this where my recording was deleted without being touched.

Since the database which grants you access to the recordings you make is held off-site, on Telus servers, there are a number of reasons, from Technical glitches, to copyright restrictions which could cause the disappearance of the record.

You can stream it from the CBC site, though.
