Cannot pay from TD Online banking, get error [0032100]

When trying to pay my home services bill via online banking, I was confused whether to choose:

  • Telus Communications
  • Telus integrated Communications
  • Telus Mobility
  • Telus services Inc

Then I chose Telus Communications based on these steps.

However I got this error:

We're sorry. Your request could not be processed. Please try again.[0032100]

Any ideas?

The likelihood of someone who works for TD chiming in here is a bit less than zero. It is recommended you contact Telus for a 10 digit account number, or confirm through My Telus of a 10 digit number for your account as previously mentioned.

Alberta Treasury Branch customers have a similar issue.

Did you contact TD about the error?

Not directly. Maybe someone who works for TD can chime in here. Smiley Happy

For your Home account for TD Easy Web it's Telus Communications with a ten (10) digit account number. Works for me.

View Bill in My Account shows you the 10 digit number!

Is the account number you entered 10 digits or 9? Sometimes only the first 9 will show up on your bill as the 10th is an optional number that some banks require for online payments but not all. If you log on to your My Account page to view the bill online it will show you the 10th digit there. The TD error may be due to a missing 10th digit.

I'm with CIBC and I used a 10 digit TELUS account number to setup the payee.

9 digits:

6********

Maybe I should pad it with a zero?!?
