I just moved to Telus Optik TV from Shaw. I have the digital IPTV box. The one feature I missed the most is the ability to find categories of shows on the live guide. For example, find all the movies that's currently playing on the entire guide. It turns out, there is no live filter in the new digital tv box but it was available in the previous box (according to Telus support articles).

On the old Optik TV platform, you could set a recording to end later in 15 minute intervals. It’s especially helpful when shows run up against football and other sports. I love SNL but miss out on parts because the show started late. Would be great to have that on the new platform.

I am totally interested in the Stream+ you offer through Telus. I think it would be an awesome idea if instead of making people have to use a credit card to obtain Stream+ through Telus, it's be a great idea to just have it tacked onto your monthly bill and be able to pay for your subscriptions through Telus that way. Not everyone has a credit card for starters, this makes it more accessible, and further people have to use their credit cards to pay for these subscriptions anyways, so there's no difference really, only that it's bundled in one place through Telus. That doesn't necessarily make it better. Billing via your Telus bill would be excellent and make it attainable for more users.

The scale on the PM is not as good as this idea window or the forum in general. Until you take it from 100% to 50% only a few lines are visible. Can it be expanded to fit the computer screen, again as this page I am typing on fills the screen

There used to be an option to set a reminder for an upcoming show and a couple of minutes before it would start the reminder would pop up on the screen. Then you would have the option to flip over to it or ignore or delete it. I don't know if Telus ever had this, I know that other company (who's name escapes me at this moment 😏) had it. They removed it for some reason and I really missed it. It was very useful.

Why is Telus adding so many Streaming channels to the channel lineup thast available on Pluto TV, Tubi and Plex for free. Noticed that Confuss, Infamous TV, Baywatch, Family Feud Classic, The Price is Right and The Price is Right Barker Era as well as other. If Telus is going to do that why not add other channels like Reuters, CBS News, Bloomberg TV+ and such instead of going Half ass in on streaming channel why not go all in? Maybe add streaming sports channels like. Monster Jam, Bein Sports xtra, FIFA+ DAZN TV the these streaming channels are available on Pluto TV, Tubi and Plex. Also why did Telus Get rid of MSNBC, CNN, Fox News and replaced with channel that people don’t watch like The Washington post, Ticker and Time…

Why is it so annoying to delete a show after watching it? With shaw I could push "exit" and it gave me the option to delete or keep. And if I pushed delete, it was gone and I was back looking at my other recordings, then 1 more push on exit and I was back on the last channel I was watching. After I delete a show on Telus, it keeps playing until I go push more buttons to get back to the guide or home page.

Telus, please extend if not excellent, at least reasonable customer service! For almost two months, you have been billing my Telus account double. I moved/transferred to a new address, but my old address is still being billed continuously. Common sense! If you moved to a new address, it means the old internet service at your previous address is no longer active and should have been deactivated by you. When I called customer service and spent two hours discussing this, they simply told me to manage my online account. However, every time I try to update my online account, it says 'service is not available.' What a burden!

There's a lot of wasted space on the left. Having the Recorded and Scheduled tabs horizontally across the top would fix that. Individual recordings take up a lot of vertical space. I think they could easily be compressed by 50% or more (especially if they are full width). Could we add the ability to delete all episodes of a recording maybe with a context menu we get after a long press on the series entry? (Context menu could also be used to manage the recording details.)

How come those ads is now part of additional services if we wish not to have it. I think the companies who owns those ads should be the one paying us forcing us watch those ads that especially the one we cannot skip.

Make an app and site that work!! I haven’t been able to pay for my account through my phone in 6 months since I swapped to Apple. You’re forcing me to have to change company’s. Also why do you guys steal our extra top up money instead of letting us save it for our next payment. The **bleep** is up with that.

Can you please modify the automation rule for arming the system when the door is locked to specifically exclude manual locking and only apply to the dead bolt being locked using the buttons (from the outside). Right now if you set the rule to arm system (arm away) when door is locked, it is arming away when I lock the door using the automatic dead bolt from the outside (good), but also arming away when we are inside the house and manually turning the dead bolt (like when you come inside the house and manually lock the door behind you). Also, if you forget to lock the dead bolt and do it from the app, it ALSO arms away with us trapped inside the house. I was with Vivint before switching to Telus and this nuance of this feature/rule was present with their custom actions. I.e. you can set a rule to arm away when the deadbolt is locked FROM THE OUTSIDE (only- no other locking scenarios/cases).
