TelusTV-21T STB. When selecting the 'Options' button where it shows 'Jump To Date' add the ability to 'Forward 24 Hours' from whatever point you are currently viewing in the guide... Now, if I am say viewing the guide and want to record a program at 9am which also airs tomorrow. When you select the 'Options' button and go to the 'Next Day', it defaults to 7p.m. time slot and I have to manually rewind to go back to 9am. A much easier solution would be to jump 'Forward 24 Hours' where it displays Jump to Date in the options 🤔

Telus is blocking outbound access to Azure Managed File Shares via outbound port 445. I understand why they would block inbound Port 445 but I see 0 reason for blocking outbound Port 445. https://azure.microsoft.com/en-ca/products/storage/files This is impacting remote workers within our company and their ability to effectively do their jobs when they are out of the office. I can understand why this may have been done 20 years ago, But Telus the internet has evolved in the last 20 years. You are impacting the use of major legitimate services. Please update your policy. Your competitors don't block this traffic.

Product feature request - Telus connect app It is missing important features to block/filter services/websites that used to be available directly on T3200 The current scheduling and block adult content is not enough. Telus TV+ app feedback. Show the 4K channels (such as channel 920) on the guide so we can record programs remotely. I realize this is not playable on our devices. But sometimes there are actual 4K programs that we want to record but can’t see them on the guide on the app.

I have a couple of suggestions to make Easy Roam more customer friendly: Have a threshold for triggering Easy Roam. There are many phones that for whatever reason leak a bit of data usage even with Data Roaming turned off. If there was a small daily threshold like 1 MB to account for this before triggering Easy Roam then it would help a lot. It's highly unlikely a 1 MB threshold would be abused as most intentional user activity would use much more data than that. Have a grace period just before the midnight where triggering Easy Roam would roll over to the next day instead of counting 2 days of Easy Roam. For example, if I trigger Easy Roam after 11:00 PM then it should count the same as if I triggered it after midnight. This is a common scenario for people flying and arriving late at night at their destination.

It would be extremely helpful to have the Season # and Episode # in each TV series episode description (i.e. S3E4). Then if a new show catches your attention, you know which episode is airing. I regularly have to look this information up online since it is not shown in the guide. I've seen this information in the On Demand listings, but it would be even more useful in the live guide listings. An example that is quite frustrating is the show Days of Our Lives - the On Demand listings only display Season and Episode numbers with no other information, but the live airing of the show has an episode description that does not appear On Demand. So if you miss an episode, you cannot compare and find which episode you missed. You just have to guess. For this example, On Demand should at least show the original air date of each episode.

This was mentioned earlier: Change sort order of recordings - TELUS Neighbourhood I like viewing the recordings by date or title but when drilling down to individual shows/series with multiple recordings the default is newest to oldest. This is problematic when you wish to continue to watch a show in a series with multiple recordings as you need to scroll down to the oldest show and then start watching. If would be nice that for individual shows that the sort order is the oldest first. Then when I go to watch the shows the one I want to watch is first on the list.

When you watch a series from Demand, and are currently watching an episode from that series - if you need to pause the PVR - after a few minutes when it times out, it then goes to a screen that shows the name of the series with the option “resume” and then it quickly changes to “watch”. However, if you hit the watch button, you quickly realize it has defaulted to a different episode. So now, you have to stop the episode, go into your perviously watched list, figure out what correct episode you were watching (the one that the PVR just defaulted to and you started to watch in error will also be there) - so it takes a minute to figure it out, then start the correct episode. The PVR does this EVERY TIME you pause the episode for a certain amount of time, so it is an absolute pain; very onerous. The PVR software needs to be reset or repaired, so that the when you pause an episode of a show, it stays on that episode - or if not possible - then have it default to no episode at all (because if you start up the defaulted episode without thinking, you get caught up in the tedious, time-consuming situation of trying to get back in to your show).

There is currently only 1 Greek channel on Optik TV. Customer said Rogers and Bell in the east have 5 or more Greek channels. More multicultural content would be much appreciated.

TELUS can you guys please please please get Spotify or Apple Music as a package for mobility. I’m a student and I had music on Rogers, but just recently switched to Telus and was shocked to learn you guys don’t have music packages. Can you guys please get something put together it only makes money for you guys and gains more subscribers to your company.

We need a feature in home security app to have automatic schedule to arm and disarm the system at particular times eg arm stay at 11 pm and disarm at 8 am This should be basic feature in security system but its not being offered by telus compared to its competitors

I look at the stock markets every day. Would love to be able to see Fox Business News. Fox business news is approved by the CRTC. Most Canadians invest in both Canada and the USA so it would improve our investment knowledge if we were to have this channel. I'm sure the channel would prove very popular if introduced. Rogers cable has the channel at $4.99 a month.

Hi, I would like to ability to customize the scene so I can state which sensors are turned on. I know you can do locks, lights etc. But I want the ability to actually customize which motion, door sensor etc can be turned on. Currently I can't even tell which sensor is turned on in the build in ones

In a work from anywhere kind of world The fact TELUS does not allow WI-FI calling outside Canada is truly bizarre. I have read hundreds of comments on Twitter, Reddit, and on this Forum dating back to 2017 and yet no action from TELUS. If you are ever outside Canada in a concrete building that has great Wi-Fi but poor cell signal. (Much of the Caribbean and other areas of the world). This function will simply never work with TELUS. I ended up having to switch my primary work line away from TELUS in order to address this scenario after 6 years of *hoping*. Every North American carrier Rogers, Sprint, Verizon etc. all allow this functionality. TELUS loves to compare itself as only "Second to South Korea" - Well in SK They give all their users a dedicated app that allows texting and calling from anywhere in the world! it is simply inexcusable in our current world.

A new feature to arm and disarm on a schedule. I.e, every day at 11 pm, set security to arm stay. Then everyday at 6:30 am, set security to disarm. This is a basic feature with most home security companies. I would not have signed up with Telus if I had known this feature is not supported.

The way it is set up currently, the current show while scrolling the guide is playing in the background but it is faded and very difficult to see as it is obscured by written information. It would be nice if there was a small box running with the current TV show, something like picture in picture.

When browsing on demand on a PikTV box, as well as when viewing on demand for Pik and Optik on the website as well as the mobile apps, there is a section on each under on demand where it has a list of the channels with on demand content and sorts all of the available shows under each channel. For some reason that option does not seem to exist when I view on demand content on my Optik box itself. Is there a way to add that section to the set top box on demand? On the Optik box (Cisco), if I go to the TV On Demand section, there isn't a list of channels there. There is a Major Networks section with 5 major channels to choose from but it's not even remotely close to the experience in the app, online or on Pik. I've never used one of the newer set top boxes so I have no idea if they have it or not.
