90 days is too short to keep recordings. Why can't I keep them as long as I want until I've used up all my storage. I like to PVR shows during the fall etc and watch them in the summer when there's no new shows. Your on demand isn't very good and don't have the options to watch alot of shows like I did when I was with Shaw.

A recent change to the Optik guide added a "new" badge to distinguish new episodes from reruns. This is an excellent feature. However, the "new" badge does not appear in the guide in the Apple TV app, nor on the online guide at https://telustvplus.com/#/guide. Please add this feature to the other guides.

I currently use a really awkward and round-about way of getting to the Call Control management screen from the MyTELUS app. Select account Plans & Devices Manage your phone number [App redirects to web site] Select account again Select subscriber Back to Plans & Devices Call Control It would be nice to be able to go there directly from the Plans & Devices on the app.

Please add the feature to prompt to delete a recording after it has been watched. It currently takes a few extra steps to go into the recordings and delete items that have been watched.

I would like more detail and clarification to the OS Upgrade schedule, like Samsung does yearly One UI revisions, aka x.1 updates and I wish Telus would clarify it when devices are set to receive it. One UI 6.1 is 2024's revision update before late 2024's major update (One UI 7.0) and I would like the further clarification be applied soon, specifically the S21 and S22 Series as they are yet to receive One UI 6.1.

On the PVR guide, the "new episode" tags are really valuable and a welcome addition. However, there are errors. This week, for example, Strays on CBC and Shelved on CTV2 have new episode tags, but the details show original airing in 2022. Please add the tags to the online guide and the app guide.

The system settings menu on the Optik box needs an option to set the volume to Fixed output at maximum or variable volume. The fixed volume at max should be the default setting. Most customers use the TV to control volume so this would eliminate the issues where the Optik volume is adjusted accidentally prior to programming the remote for the TV. The setting would also give customers a quick way to correct the issue without having to reprogram the remote back to the Optik box and then program it again for the TV.

I recently switched from Shaw to Telus, and was VERY disappointed I couldnt watch recording on my App. This is easily done on the My Shaw app, hopefully Telus can figure it out soon

When I had a Shaw PVR, I was able to record all games played by a specific sports team - such as recording all Vancouver Canucks games or all Seattle Seahawks games. There doesn't seem to be any way to do this with TELUS Optic TV (other than searching the team name and manually recording each game that comes up in the results). Can we add this feature please?

Parents need an option to disable, delete, or even add a pin on apps. The app in particular is Youtube. Everyone knows this isn't an app for kids. Putting restrictions on Youtube itself won't work. It will still allow contents that are not for kids.

we should have access to recently deleted programs in case a recording is accidently deleted. Frustrated when some programs are accidently deleted and we can not recall them.

As it is now the only siren your alarm system has is on the panel. In our house the panel is upstairs and the siren can barely be heard in parts of our basement or not at all in the shop. If our alarm goes off you can't even hear it outside; wouldn't it make more sense to have a siren outside so neighbors etc can hear when it goes off? It would be nice if you offered extra internal sirens that could be plugged into any outlet but it would really be helpful if you offered an external siren we could plug into our soffit plugs.

I've have assorted shows listed here (Web and App) that I have no desire to continue watching. As best as I can tell there is no way to remove shows from this list. The PVR has a similar problem with the Home screen and continue watching. The only way I've found to remove shows there is to clear the viewing history and that removes ALL shows from the continue watching list.

On the desktop Optik PVR you could delete recordings from the program. With the new Android Cloud recordings you have multiple steps and screens to do this and it is frustrating.

Please do as your competitors do and enable wifi calling for all devices that support it rather than only for devices on the Telus provisioning list. It's frustrating that other providers allow this, yet Telus only supports a small list of brands. Sony phones, for example, are not currently permitted.

I’m happy you’ve added Disney + but you’ve made it unnecessarily complicated for those of us that already have a subscription, I think you need to make it so one can just sign into it like we can with Prime, I’m not going to switch & cancel an already paid for subscription. Can Telus develop an action button where we can manually record our doorbell camera? I go live when I hear something suspicious outside and my doorbell camera and recording cannot be turned on. It also cannot be configured to trigger zones for recording. I would feel safe that I can record something that is happening and use it as evidence when filing police reports. FYI found a similar post here from 2020 and still no answer. Where are the experts?
