At this point we know that these per boxes run on a version of Android as well as the piktv box... so why not activate the USB port to plug in a camera during this pandemic and turn the biggest screen in the house into a social centre instead of trying to teach my wife how to screen share or me moving a computer physically over there and hardwire it to the tv. The Telus website is extremely slow when opening my Telus. Every option takes several minutes to load. It is slower than the old days of using dial up internet. I did a speed check so its not my connection. The Telus website has always been slow but today I have been waiting already for over 5 minutes for a tab to load and its not loading. Telus has an excellent TV ad that finishes with a beautiful montage of animals, in a triangular setting on a white background.  If this was made into a puzzle, i.e., 100 pieces for children and/or 1000 pieces for older persons, the profits from its sale could be used for charitable purposes, giving back to Telus communities, etc.  It is just too good not to be used for other purposes.   ... Several of us Telus customers showed up an hour early for work on Sunday because our cell phones were set to "Use network-provided time", so we showed up at 6 instead of 7. Around 0730 MST, our phones corrected themselves, but it was a little late. Has Telus considered approaching the BC Knowledge Network to include it's programs library with Optic TV?  Optik presently contains many other good internet library program portals but as far as I know, the Knowledge Network's library is absent.  It seems to me that Knowledge Network, a quasi government service, would be amenable.   ... We are seasonal residents in BC and we have US iPhones. Until recently we were able to control our Telus home security system from our phones with the alarm.com app. However, with the migration of the home security login to a single My Telus login, we cannot use the alarm.com app. Since the My Telus app is not available on the US app store (but other apps like Telus My Wi-Fi are?), we can no longer access our security system from our phones.   To obtain the My Telus app from the Canadian app store is not an easy process and one I would rather not pursue. Having spoken with technical support, they acknowledge that this migration is creating this problem for which there is no other apparent workaround. Please help! ... View more

Love the look and feel of the remote, but I believe it could be improved.   The first and foremost issue, it's not back lit.  Many times we watch a movie with the kids in the dark and you need to turn the room light on (or use your phone's LED light) just to find the pause button.   If battery life is a concern, then the back light can have an on/off button.   Second the remote doe not have an input button on it.  If I want to change the source/input on my TV, I can't do that with the Telus remote, I have to pull out my TV's original remote. The App look is great, but it lacks features found in other TV/Interest service providers Apps.   For example, while the Telus App can turn on or off Internet access to a particular device, it is cumbersome and slow.   A few suggestions to get the App up to par with other Apps:   - control of Internet access for a device should be on a individual basis, meaning you shouldn't have to put it in a group - should be able to set an on and off time (daily settings) for a devices' Internet access, and with a time limit option, ie: the PlayStation has online access from 10am to 7pm only, and a maximum of online time of 2 hours daily - I should be able to reset my router through the App   Thanks. ...
