wondering how internet customers know which telephone jack to use to plug their modem into?....i know leviton has green jacks available, has telus thought of having installers use green for dsl, yellow for lan jacks and black or white for tel jacks? or do installers use a printed sticker by the jack or a pen and mark the jack? ... I would like the daily usage list put back onto our statements. This is helpful when downloading movies from sites so we have an  idea how many we can watch in one month. Also it tells us what causes more usage on particular days. Getting a monthly reading is not very helpful. ... View more

I think that TELUS should switch its e-mail services over to Google. With Google (Gmail) we would have a lot more features then we do now with TELUS's Webmail, we would also be able to easily sync all of our mail, contacts, and calendar events to our smart phones, tablets, and computers. With Google we would even get unlimited cloud storage with Google Drive which is a big bonus for those who like cloud storage. Well i have been a costemer with Telus for the last three years and let me tell you that I'm not impressed. When i started with Telus i paid 99.00 a month for internet and cable. Three years later and i haven't changed a thing on my account and now i just received a bill for 141.75 for the new price for a month. Now as far as i see things thats one hell of an increase. So the magic number is now 42.56 of an increase in three years.From what i see thats almost an 69% increase. I would be ok with this if i was getting more? but I'm not getting anything extra for it? Did everyone at Telus get a raise? If the prices keep going up like that nobody will want cable. No company should be able to price like that? As far as i can see i don't now anybody that is getting a 69%raise in there income from his or hers job within three years for doing nothing extra. Not inpressed at all. ... View more

Currently when there is an increase in pricing, there's no actual notification method for home internet users. We're expected to follow a link at the bottom of each month's bill, choose the services we have at the next link, and check to see if there are any changes to next month's bill. That's ludicrous. It shouldn't be up to the customers to see if their rates are changing, the onus should be on the company to notify us when they change rates. There should be an automatic emailing when rate changes occur at the very least, or an actual notice on the previous month's bill that indicates a change is coming. We shouldn't be responsible for having to check a status page every month to make sure you're not jacking up the fees the next moth. ... View more

The idea I am submitting is in regards to the ability to see how many long distance minutes you have used on your Home Phone. I currently have a plan that allows me to have 300 Long Distance minutes across Canada/USA and it would be great for me to login to my online account and check how many minutes I've used in the month to avoid going over my allotted time.  ... Telus e Bill presently displays an "if received by date." I believe it would assist customers with their banking if the bill were to show the date the funds will be deducted from their bank account.   Example:  Due Date September 1,2011 (underlined)   If received by Sept 9, 2011 no additional charges will apply.   Simply state when the money will be deducted from the bank account.
