Keyboard Support

I purchased a keyboard which plugs into a USB port in the TV. The keyboard is far superior than using the remote control when having to type in words. I wish the Telus TV would also recognize the keyboard.

The PikTV device accepts USB keyboard.

The Logitech keyboard has an integrated touchpad. I prefer it over a mouse.

The PVR (UIW8001) has a USB 3.0 port on the back. If I plug the USB receiver into it will the keyboard work?

Hi Shane-  The USB port is a standard build feature made by the manufacturer of the device but is inoperable on TELUS set top boxes. No external device plugged in via USB will work.
