Do not close discussions that do not have an ending

Reading through New Ideas suggested I came across this one now closed. Post started February 2023

My idea is why are these unresolved good ideas closed before a solution is made. There are several posts asking why there are no simple  PVR settings to set start and stop times.

It is now November 21, 2023 and there is no extended recordings option. By closing a thread is that a way of saying Telus is not interested in acomodating the idea?

Very frustrating that there still hasn’t been any updates on this… a feature that several of the older models of PVRs have had for years.

Classic Telus response: “Yeah we're working on that feature for sure” and then proceed to close the discussion.
