Transfer\Handover of calls from a phone system back to the tELUS network...

Just Moved In

In most phone systems transfering a call to an external extention\phone results in both an incomming and outgoing line being used for the duration of the call.

Most telephone service providers offer a service to handover such calls back to the service provider's network allowing such transferes to happen without using up the two lines on the phone system.

Does TELUS offer such a service and if so what is it called?

As a consultant we have a number of TELUS clients whom are looking for such a service, but the first teir sales and support staff do not seem to know anything about it, or that it is becomming a standard feature in North America for buisiness lines.

Thanks.

Just to clarify, are you referring to mobile or landline service. If it's landline, then yes, they do offer that.

For mobile, I don't believe they do. If you conference multiple users into the phone call, once the originator hangs up, the other users are disconnected.
