Optik hardware vs Apple TV app
Can anyone comment on the picture quality difference between watching on Telus' hardware versus using the Apple TV app? I'm about to move from PikTV to Optik Core and am wondering if there's an advantage to using their hardware. I've been subscribing to PikTV for years using an Apple TV and the Telus app (formerly the PikTV app). Since they rolled out the new Telus+ app I've noticed that the picture quality is horrible. This is particularly true of the TSN channels. My contract is about to run out and I'm wondering if: 1) I move to Optik Core will the picture quality improve, and 2) do I have to move to their hardware or can I keep using my Apple TV and their app?
