Merci, Liquidateur de succession SDSuccession-SD18 hours agoNeighbour20Views0likes1CommentViolation of Agreement

I closed my account with Telus last February over the phone, but apparently there was a balance owed (136.82) that was sent to collections. I received no letters, notification, or emails regarding my outstanding balance prior to Telus sending it to ACRM. I phoned Telus, who confirmed that they have a very old address on file and not the last address I had when I was in service with them (although... I updated my address with them each time we moved). So if there were notifications, it wasn't sent to the address that their service was installed to, which was unfair. They also confirmed they waived $100 due to it being a mistake (They thought I didn't return equipment, but it was returned). TELUS told me my outstanding balance is 25.69 and not 136.83. I phoned customer service billing to provide an email or printed statement, but they couldn't help out further. ACRM requires this to update the balance they have. How can I get a copy of my outstanding balance on a TELUS account closed 10 months ago?Wrong last name on online billing.
Hello, I talked to an agent weeks ago to get my last name changed on my bill for my internet account. I got married. She got me to email in my marriage license and I did it. She that that , that would fix it. And nothing has changed. It’s showing my correct name on my account and on the billing for my mobile account but not my internet account. When I call Telus they say it looks like the correct name on their end . But it’s not on mine and I have dented the app and reinstalled it. Please help.SamanthaH4 days agoNeighbour104Views0likes3CommentsStream +
I subscribed to Stream plus as a Koodo customer a couple of years ago. I have since moved my mobile account to Telus but kept the Stream plus account active. Now I want to cancel it and can't either through the streaming services, My Telus or Koodo Self Serve. In Koodo the subscription is there but clicking manage only gives the option to switch to a more expensive optionlrclarkster5 days agoNeighbour72Views0likes1CommentTelus hardware equipment balance sent to collections
Hello TELUS team and Community, I am writing regarding an urgent issue with an unreturned equipment charge that was erroneously sent to collections. The equipment in question was already returned and confirmed delivered via courier. Despite the delivery being completed, an unreturned hardware fee was generated and routed to an external collection agency, resulting in a sudden, severe drop on my credit bureau report. And I wasn’t contacted or notified from Telus or through any external agency related to collections. Before I left the Telus service I just confirmed with the agent that balance is zero and there’s nothing on my end to pay back. Literally credit score got destroyed so badly, and from 780 to 680 due to this dispute. Because the hardware was sent back, this balance is erroneous. Could a Telus moderator please reach out via private message to review my account? I need Telus to: Verify delivery using my courier tracking and equipment serial numbers. Formally recall the account from collections. I have full courier delivery receipts and tracking documentation ready to share securely. can some please guide me if there were in this situation. Thank you.83Views0likes1CommentTelus balance sent to collections?
Has anyone else had a Telus balance sent to collections without ever being contacted about it? I recently noticed that my TransUnion credit score dropped by about 100 points, from roughly 860 to 760. I've never missed a payment on anything. When I checked my report, I found a collection for only $115 from a collection agency, with TELUS listed as the original creditor. The strange part is that I've been a telus customer continuously for at least 10-12 years and I've lived at the same address for the last six years, and my current Telus account is in good standing with a $0 balance with autowithdrawal enabled. As far as I'm aware, Telus never contacted me about an outstanding balance. I didn't receive a bill, email, phone call, or any indication that I owed $115. I also don't recall ever being contacted by the collection agency. If someone had simply told me I owed $115 I would have paid it. I've started a dispute with TransUnion because I don't recognize the debt, but I'm trying to understand how this could happen. If I genuinely owed $115, why wouldn't it have appeared on my existing account, or why wouldn't TELUS have contacted me before sending it to collections? They have my current account and contact information and I've remained an active customer the entire time. So now I'm so bummed because my near perfect credit score has been wrecked from this charge for a hundred bucks. Has anyone else had something similar happen with TELUS? If so, were you able to find out where the balance came from and get the collection removed from your credit report?Solved310Views1like10CommentsCan't purchase a device
I was with Koodo for 13 years. Bell offered a better plan, so I called loyalty and they matched it but switched us to Telus. Since the switch, we cannot order a device (we did BYOD). It just says the order cannot be made online and to call. And when I called, they told us something about not being able to do a credit check since we were only with Telus a few months, which is nonsense to begin with and besides, our credit is sparkling. It's been over 6 months now and still no change. To top it off, we get a call about offers on new devices. I explain to the guy the situation we're in and he checked and confirmed he couldn't do anything for us. Just absolute amateur hour. We'd have already switched to Bell but their prices when I checked were horrendous. Has anyone else been stuck in this situation?cjm1807 days agoNeighbour50Views0likes1Comment
