Faulty Fire Detector

This afternoon/evening we had 8 false alarms coming from the Fire Detector.  The monitoring centre representative tried to connect me with technical support/service but in all cases, nobody answered.  We need this problem addressed and rectified.  These false alarms are becoming most distressing.

  • I'm sorry to hear about the false alarms with your fire detector. To address and rectify this issue promptly, please follow these steps:

    Check the Detector:

    • Inspect the fire detector for any visible issues, such as dust, insects, or debris that might be triggering false alarms. Clean the detector gently if necessary.

    Reset the Detector:

    • If your fire detector has a reset button, press it to see if that resolves the issue. Refer to your user manual for specific instructions on resetting.

If the problem persist send us a private message and we will get someone to assist you.

  • It could be a battery issue, but if the problem keeps coming back even after replacing them, it might be worth checking if there’s dust or debris blocking the sensor.
