Moved from 1.5gb to 3gb plan, and now my speeds at the router are slow

bumped my plan for work purposes and now my internet is down to 1gb at the router. nothing changed on my side, only the tech coming

Which router do you have? Are you sure it's the router as many devices only support 1gb.
