Why was my Internet changed to GC-NAT IP on WAN recently?

Recently I found my Internet WAN side was changed to GC-NAT IP (100.x.x.x), not dynamic public IP as before. And I VPN server in my home router was un-reachable from Internet.

Telus's service agent can't explain it and just repeat that the public static IP needs additional service. My question is where is the dynamic public IP as before.

I will switch to Shaw if Shaw doesn't turn to GC-NAT for Internet plan.

  • Just wrong typing for CG-NAT.

My issue is that previous internet dynamic public IP (75.x.x.x) was secretly changed to CG-NAT (100.81.x.x) by Telus. Therefore my home network cannot be accessed from outside.
