Who can disable Telus transparent proxy on my account?
I'm on Telus internet for good 50mbps account. Router is a Telus WiFi hub, my IP as according to the router is 10.80.244.x, but when I browse any web pages, there's a transparent proxy that redirects...
Hi. I have a similar problem. Did you get it resolved?tech support were useless snd could not explain why it was happening.
I missed your message, but essentially if you call into their tech support, they'll deny the issue and insist the issue is on your end. Then you'll waste time doing all sorts of troubleshooting and modem reset and what not just so that they can dispatch a technician onsite. I was lucky to have a knowledgeable technican that pointed out the issue is telus using CGNAT to save cost, sharing IP addresses to multiple users but making us suffer from double-NAT issues and disables our port forwarding capability.
