Utility pole removal

I had to have a new utility pole installed on our property. Our Neighbour’s lines were on the existing pole on our property and these have all been removed from this pole and added to their new poles. I would like to know when Telus will be removing the now unused pole from our property.

Are there still hydro services on the pole as well or just TELUS?

No - all Hydro was switched off it in late July and the Telus lines were moved off in mid August so it is all clear!

Gotcha. This means that either the hydro company either owns the pole, or it's joint ownership. If they own it, they're the ones to remove it. If it's a joint ownership scenario, TELUS has to wait for them to contact us to say they've completed all the necessary work for the hydro component. This can take time, and unfortunately TELUS has to wait for the hydro company to provide the go ahead to remove it!
