I am having the same issue with entries for recording series on the digital box. This happened right after my recordings and schedules for series were transferred from my old PVR to the digital box. I also noticed that all transferred series recording information were missing the target channel. When I edited the information with the target channel, the digital box said it was updated but then the series entry just disappears. Further attempts to re-create the series entry for the target channel were ignored by the digital box.
As a related issue, the TELUS TV+ app displays the scheduled series information but shows all series to record at 4pm and says there are no upcoming shows to record on any of the series (probably because none of the shows in my series broadcast around 4pm). Also, it will not display any of my recorded shows, new or old, whether from a series or as a single recording; the message displayed is "no recorded content". I have purged the cache, deleted the data, uninstalled the app and re-installed it multiple times without success.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
